KHOJAVAND, Azerbaijan, August 5. The families who arrived in Khojavand city, Girmizi Bazar settlement, and Khojavand village within the next group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) have been presented with the keys to their houses, Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.

According to the report, after welcoming the families, employees of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) provided them with detailed information about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance. The families have been advised to stay away from unfamiliar objects and objects, and to report such situations to the relevant authorities.

The ceremony of presenting the keys was attended by employees of the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, and other officials.

At this stage, 20 families (81 people) are being relocated to Khojavand city, 2 families (9 people) to Girmizi Bazar, and 5 families (17 people) to Khojavand village. Prior to that, the families had temporarily settled in dormitories, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished and administrative buildings in various areas of the country.

The next group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) has arrived home to Khojavand city, Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.

According to the report, the families relocated to their homeland were welcomed in Khojavand city by officials of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as employees of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts.

At this stage, 20 families (81 people) have been relocated to Khojavand city, 2 families (9 people) to Girmizi Bazar, and 5 families (17 people) to Khojavand village. Thus, totally, 27 families (107 people) have returned to their native land.
